GETTING STARTED
- Google Translate
We have a Google translate tool built into our website to translate our entire website into several languages. This is found on our home page. We have also added this other tool from Google. If you click the link that says Google Translate; it will bring you to a page where you use this fantastic tool. You can type in text and then have it translated or simply copy paste text from a website or email and have it translated as well. We have found this very helpful when answering questions and communicating with our subscribers from other countries. Click the link to be directed to Google's website. Type your message in your native language in the translate text section and click translate to English, then simply copy and paste the English translation into your email and send it off to us. We do just the opposite on our end. This has worked very well, allowed us to help people and communicate much more effectively, and has given our company a truly international presence on the World Wide Web.
Once you sign up for our service you will have immediate access to our Members only section. Our service is designed for you to sign up through Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account you will still be able to sign up. Just click on any Subscribe button on our site. It will bring you to Paypal and on the bottom of the page look for (Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card). Simply click on that link and it will bring you to a secure page where you can pay with your credit card or debit card. Immediately after signing up with our service you will also be given our phone number. We have purposely restricted our phone number from the general public so we can give our members the time and attention they need. If you are not a member you can visit our Contact Us tab and contact us via email. We respond to all emails as soon as possible. Here's just some of what you will find inside the Members section: Current trades that we are in, trades we are looking to enter, and our past trading record. We show you our own personal money management rules for our trading system. We explain the differences between the Indexes and ETF's that we trade, such as what time of day they stop trading and what is the last day you can trade them, the difference between American and European style options and which style each of our trades are. We show you how to negotiate your orders for better prices when you enter and when you need to exit a trade. We will go into great detail of how the orders are placed for entry and for exit. After we are filled on our new trades, we provide ongoing commentary of our trades and we also provide you with alerts and exit points so you know ahead of time when to watch more closely and when to get out. The rest of the time just sit back and let time decay your options. We offer market sentiment using our proprietary research. Every day we compile and analyze data from 13 different technical indicators and 30 different economic and fundamental indicators. This allows us to see if a trend is about to begin, or if it will continue, or if there may be a change in direction about to occur.
BROKERS
- Think Or Swim
They offer web based and software based trading. Their software platform is very smooth and quick to respond. Lots of tools, very professional, has everything you need, don't think you'll ever outgrow their platform.
- OptionsXpress
Lots of great tools, plenty of things offered for free, easy to use. A popular choice among our subscribers from Australia.
- Eoption
Currently the lowest commission structure available.
- OptionsHouse
Used to have flat fee commissions which was great. We keep bugging them to bring back some form of the flat fee structure which was great especially for larger sized trades and accounts.
- Tradeking
Another popular choice with a decent commission structure.
- TradeMonster
Jon Najarian and Pete Najarian founded and run this firm which speaks for itself.
- Interactive Brokers
Decent commission structure and seems to be a popular choice among folks outside of the United States.
- Tradestation
Their best feature is a way to automate your entries and exits of trades with a program built into their platform, however last we checked you will get hit with a data fee if you don't trade enough.
- AOS
- Trade Wall Street
All of these brokers should be considered your options friendly brokers. We can at least speak for the top half of the list with which we are familiar. If your broker isn't on this list, check for the following: 1- How many contracts do you normally trade and compare the final commission costs? 2- Does your broker charge you more if you place your order by phone rather than online. Hint it should be the same price either way. 3- Are their brokers knowledgeable and what kind of experience do they have? The better ones will be staffed with former floor traders, not just sales people or order takers. 4- Do you get free real time quotes, free real time charts? 5- Here's THE BIG ONE when you put on an Iron Condor trade, a bull put spread and a bear call spread on the same Index or ETF, will your broker have a margin requirement for one side of the trade or for both sides of the trade? IF THEY REQUIRE MARGIN FOR BOTH SIDES, once both sides of the trade have been filled, THEN MOVE ON AND FIND A NEW BROKER IMMEDIATELY. There is no need for this as your position cannot end up in both places at expiration. THIS WILL KILL YOUR RATE OF RETURN AND YOUR OVERALL TRADING INCOME. If you have never traded this strategy before, we strongly encourage you to practice trade it first. Most brokers now have a virtual trading platform or paper money account to practice with, which is as close as you can get to trading with real money. If your broker doesn't offer this feature you can also practice trade at the CBOE
